Mocking Jupiter opened on their hometown stage Saturday night to a huge crowd of fans and family filling the Marquee Theatre in Tempe. These guys pull songwriting influence from goth metal bands to grungy rock bands like Alice in Chains - but personally I feel like I hear a lot of Tool influence too! Playing all original songs from their vast catalog, with a vibe to match their dark rock aesthetic, sure made for a powerful performance! thank you for inviting me to the photo pit y’all!
